As part of his academic  assignments, Dr. Raju has served  VIT as the Pro Vice Chancellor and Vice Chancellor.  In the past, he has held teaching, administrative or research appointments at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Purdue University, Florida A&M University, the State University of New York, Carnegie Mellon  University and MIT, all in the USA. The focus of Dr. Raju and his team is to build VIT-Bangalore to be a globally ranked technological university, offering the best of opportunities to students from everywhere.
