Leadership Team

VIT-Bangalore is headed by the  Honorable Chancellor, Dr. G. Viswanathan.  The Chancellor’s vision to provide the best of education and prepare the Indian students to compete with the most talented graduates of the world have served as the guiding principles in the development  of VIT-Bangalore.  

In carrying out the Chancellor’s vision and expanding the scope of VIT to be a global player, Dr. Sekar Viswanathan,  the Vice President  and Dr. Sandhya Pentareddy, the Vice-President provide leadership to the university for the academic direction, strategic planning, international partnership and in setting the highest standards  for the development and delivery of academic programs. 

Dr.V. Raju, the previous Vice Chancellor of VIT would serve as the Chief Academic Officer and Provost and lead an outstanding team of faculty and administrators in creating unparalleled  opportunities for students, research scholars, innovators, entrepreneurs and industry and international partners. 

The faculty and the students will play unique leadership roles in preparing for and meeting the challenges in teaching and learning, exploring and implementing new technologies and getting ready to be technology leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs.
